Just goes with everything it’s also a great layering under shirts jumpers without the bulk
In 2023 I climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It’s described as being like walking from the equator to the North Pole as you joirney from tropical heat to glaciers over the course of several days. In preparation for the climb I bought a lot of very expensive merino wool base layers, which I also used day to day during the cold Toowoomba winters (my body is not good at making heat!) But in the last couple of years I started collecting O2 wear base layers. At first I thought they’d be a backup option to my merino ones. But I’ve noticed lately that if there’s O2 wear in my thermals drawer, I always pick it over the merino. I wasn’t even thinking about it, but on reflection, these are softer, more comfortable, don’t restrict my movements, are easier to wash, and I feel just as warm with them on. Plus I love the colour range. So I’m a convert!
